BRANSON, Mo. — The Branson Police Department (BPD) is actively investigating a call of shots fired towards a vehicle in Branson Tuesday morning.

According to a Facebook post from the BPD, they were called to the area of Shepherd of the Hills Expressway and Little Pete Road for the shots fired call. A witness provided the suspect’s vehicle information to Branson dispatch, and an officer quickly located the suspect’s vehicle and stopped it.

BPD officers detained two suspects and are investigating the circumstances around the incident. Investigators have found that the people involved in the incident knew each other, and it was not random.
