The Jordan Brand 's collaboration with rapper Travis Scott is among the most popular and successful in the shoe company's history. With Scott's huge fan base and his status as a trendsetter, it has produced some of the brand's most coveted silhouettes.

Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of Jordan's Travis Scott sneakers is the reverse Nike logo. However, while reverse branding is often associated with the rapper's shoeline, Hall of Famer and former Michael Jordan teammate Dennis Rodman claims that La Flame stole his design and made it his own.

"Travis Scott has copied my shoe. I was the first guy to do mine backward when I was playing with the Chicago Bulls," The Worm said.

The Air Darwin was the first shoe to have a reverse Swoosh

The N'Destrukt is the Nike shoe often associated with Rodman. But before the Oregon shoemaker came up with the shoe line in 1995, The Worm wore a shoe called Air Darwin during the 1994-95 season when he was still with the San Antonio Spurs.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the shoe featured a visible air sole unit and padding around the ankles, among others. But what made it stand out was that it was the first Nike shoe to feature a reverse swoosh. That particular aesthetic is also why Jordan's TS shoes are top sellers.

"Come on, Travis, give us some credit," added Rodman. "You copied my shoe. So this ain't new. This ain't new, brother. But either way, congratulations."

Rodman switched shoe brands as much as he switched teams

Rodman's shoe history is as chaotic as his NBA career. He wore Reebok when he was with the Pistons, transferred to Nike, and then went back to Reebok. After he was traded to the Spurs in 1993, he hooked up with Nike again, and that's when the Air Darwin was born.

But after Swoosh gave him his signature shoe called the Nike Air Worm N'Destrukt, he broke off with Nike and signed a $15 million endorsement deal with Converse . He first wore the Converse All-Star Springfield model before getting his own signature shoe during his final season with the Bulls. Rodman also had the All-Star 91 and All-Star D-Rod before he retired.

When The Worm was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011, he switched brands again and wore a special Nike Air Force 1 PE called Hall of Fame. The white-on-white colorway featured different information about his life and basketball career.
