Authorities arrest four suspects in deadly shooting of teen in White County

WHITE COUNTY, Ark. – Authorities said they have made multiple arrests in connection with a deadly shooting that took place in White County earlier in the month.
The White County Sheriff’s Office said in a Tuesday release that four suspects from Tennessee have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of 17-year-old Brendon Berryhill.
Authorities identified them as 18-year-old Jayden Solang, 18-year-old Kydavien Green, 18-year-old J’vion Todd and 20-year-old Johnathan Arrington.
WCSO officials said a deputy was patrolling the area of Salem Church Road around 3:30 a.m. on July 6 when they discovered a body, later identified as Berryhill, lying in the middle of the road.Officials said the deputy discovered that the body had multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities said they later learned that Berryhill had been shot following a confrontation at a gas station on Highway 13 before driving himself to the Salem Church Road area.
Solang and Arrington are each facing charges of capital murder with accomplice, two counts of terroristic act with accomplice, unauthorized use of another persons property to facilitate a crime with accomplice and engaging in violent criminal group activity.
Green and Todd are each facing charges of capital murder, terroristic act, unauthorized use of another persons property to facilitate a crime with accomplice, tampering with physical evidence and engaging in violent criminal group activity.
Authorities said Solang is currently being held in the Crittenden County Detention Center, while the other three suspects are being held in the Shelby County Detention Center in Tennessee.
