Tabby-Persian Cat Who 'Looks Like Wilford Brimley' Is Stealing Hearts

An adorable Tabby-Persian cat has a look and vibe similar to Wilford Brimley's, and her videos make everyone fall in love.

On July 15, 2024, TikTok user Mae Mae the Tabby Persian (@maemaethetabbypersian) shared a silly video of a cute Persian who has an extra unique look, and they know it. Take a look!

In a video that is less than 10 seconds long, we meet a cat named Mae Mae , a Tabby Persian mix who has the look and personality to go with it.

Mae Mae is a five year old cat, and although she's still young, she gives off the vibe that she runs the world, and for some reason, that just makes sense.

In the clip, she's lounging on the bed and sitting like a person would be if they were in bed watching TV. Her head is up on the pillow, and her tummy is up and exposed. Her back legs are stretched and relaxed, and it's clear this is a very loved kitty who has zero cares in the world.

And she knows that having a Tabby coat color while being a Persian makes her special.

The video slow-pans over to Mae Mae, and the viral sound "Oh, you can't find this in the store. Nah, this right here is customized" plays while Mae Mae turns her head, noticing the camera.

In the comments, people had no worries telling Mae Mae know that she is very right. She is absolutely customized, and her humans are lucky to have her.

Persian Cats Require a Little Extra Grooming Than Other Cats

According to International Cat Care , Persian Longhair cats require "daily grooming to keep its long and thick coat free from mats and knots." And their fur can be very challenging to detangle once you let it get too far.

"Failure to keep the coat tangle-free can lead to the cat having to be clipped all over and the coat allowed to regrow," the site explains. "Regular grooming is necessary to help remove fur so it is not ingested by the cat as hairballs can be a problem for Persians."

Humans who have Persians should also be aware that they have to help keep the cat clean. "The bottom area and underside of the tail are prone to becoming caked with feces, and care needs to be taken to keep this area scrupulously clean to avoid staining and uncomfortable lumps," they explain.
