    WNBA Announces Halftime Show Performer For 2024 All-Star Game

    Perhaps the most anticipated WNBA All-Star game in history is approaching. The showcase will have no shortage of star power when it tips off on July 20.

    On Tuesday, we learned who will perform at halftime of the All-Star game. Pitbull has been selected for the league's halftime show .

    The performance adds to the intrigue of the exhibition game. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky post Angel Reese will make their All-Star debut as WNBA rookies.

    The format of the game pits the league's All-Star team against the U.S. Women's national team headed to the Paris Games.

    The U.S. squad features the league's best player, A'ja Wilson ( Las Vegas ), and New York Liberty stars Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu . The Phoenix Mercury trio of Diana Taurasi , Brittney Griner and Kahleah Copper also headline the squad.

    WNBA fans will get the opportunity to see how Reese and Clark compare to several of the league's best players. The anticipated matchups figure to be the biggest talking points of the game.

    The weekend kicks off with a three-point contest and skills challenge on July 19 before the Saturday showcase.

    The WNBA All-Star team and U.S. national team will play on July 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
