    UPDATE: Missing Chester County 5-year-old found safe: Sheriff

    CHESTER, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The 5-year-old girl reported missing has been found safe, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.

    Skylar was last seen around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday near Elizabeth Drive, about 8 miles west of the city of Chester. Deputies reported that she was located at 8:15 p.m.

    Deputies were utilizing the a helicopter and K9s from the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and their own drones to aid the search.

    “We are actively searching for Skylar utilizing multiple resources,” the sheriff said.
