COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL) — A four-year-old with terminal cancer had his dreams of joining the police force come true.

Four-year-old Armon has a tumor on his brain stem and was diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma in February of 2023. Doctors say those diagnosed with this cancer tend to have 12 to 15 months left to live.

The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office made the decision to celebrate Armon’s life and allowed him to spend time with Sheriff Greg Countryman and deputies within his office.

Armon was escorted to the Columbus Civic Center where he walked the red carpet through a tunnel of deputies cheering him on.

Shortly after his arrival, he was taken into a gaming van to play video games with Sheriff Countryman and Chase from the TV show “Paw Patrol,” who is his favorite cartoon character.

From the Civic Center, Armon rode off in style to his “Paw Patrol” themed pizza party in the Sheriff’s Office. There he was presented with gifts from the department, a sheriff’s pin, a banner signed by deputies, and lots of “Paw Patrol” balloons.
