49ers' Wide Receiver Appears To Throw Shade At Brandon Aiyuk After Trade Request Rumors

The battle between the San Francisco 49ers and All-Pro wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has been ongoing since after the Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in February.

Since then, Aiyuk has seemingly taken every measure to voice his displeasure in the negotiations with his current team. He has sparked multiple rumors, saying he would like to play for either the Washington Commanders or Pittsburgh Steelers if the 49ers were to trade him.

Now, it seems that one of Aiyuk's teammates, fellow wide receiver Jauan Jennings, has grown tired of the situation. Jennings took to his Instagram account on Tuesday evening after rumors began to circulate that Aiyuk had requested a trade.

"You gotta be a different type of person to act like you doing everything by yourself knowing dang well you not," Jennings posted on his Instagram story.

Granted, Jennings never named Aiyuk or included anything else to outright say he was talking about the disgruntled receiver. However, the timing of it felt all too convenient.

Jennings has been a solid WR3 for the 49ers. In 13 games last season, he had 19 catches for 265 yards and one touchdown. But he was one of the go-to options during the playoffs. He caught 10 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown.

Aiyuk, who is considered one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, has had to watch other talented wideouts across the league earn new paydays this season, which surely only adds to his frustrations. He is in the last year of his deal with San Francisco.
