Take full advantage of Prime Day bargains by acquiring an Amazon Kindle that's currently being marked down.

One exclusive deal for Prime Day is the Kindle, reduced to just $84.99 . That equates to a 15 percent discount from the original price tag of $99.99.

The e-reader comes in two stylish shades: black and denim . It boasts a lightweight design and a high-resolution display offering 300 ppi, ensuring strikingly clear text and images .

Featuring a display similar to paper and without any glare, it truly offers an authentic book-reading experience. Its built-in adjustable light provides optimal reading conditions, irrespective of whether it's day or night.

Speaking of the Kindle's battery life, it's now been extended significantly. A single charge can now last up to an impressive 6 weeks.

Want instant access to new books at the press of a button? Why not give Kindle Unlimited a go?

For a modest monthly fee, this subscription service allows you to choose from millions of titles within the programme. Kindle Unlimited boasts over 2 million titles, thousands of audiobooks and more.

On Amazon , the Kindle holds a solid 4.6 out of 5 star rating, with users singing praises about its durable battery, lightweight construction, ideal lighting for reading, readability, and its compact size.

One pleased customer commented: "Getting a kindle was hands down, one of the best decisions I've ever made. I read for several hours 99% of days, and am addicted to my kindle. The battery in this little thing is great, and you can read for an entire day and still be at 70%."

"The pages "turning" doesn't take me out of it. The storage is great. I am happy with the lighting, font, size, and other customization options while reading."

Another user praised the device for its lack of distractions compared to a phone or computer.

"Everyone has a smartphone these days, so at this point the Kindle is for one very particular audience: people who want to read a lot of books, and read them with a minimum of distractions. With this version, Amazon has refined the Kindle to the point where it's just about ideal for this purpose."

However, some buyers were less than impressed, giving the device a 1-star rating and criticising its design.

"Not only did the product come with no accessories and flimsy packaging, it updated slowly and the scrolling and button pressing lagged. Like I'd press a button and nothing would happen for 5 seconds or longer. The first time I logged into my account on the kindle it failed to even load the book covers and I had to restart it to get it to display on my carousel. I did know it didn't have colour, but I feel for $99 it should have been in colour."

Similar products are available at Walmart for $139.99. The Nook from Barnes & Noble is also priced at $111.99 at Walmart.
