McAlister’s Deli is giving away free iced teas — for one day only.

The annual Free Tea Day event returns for its 16th year Thursday, July 18, allowing customers a free large tea of their choice at participating McAlister’s locations nationwide, according to the restaurant chain.

    No purchase is necessary.

The Georgia-based deli has roots in Oxford, Mississippi, and now operates more than 500 locations across the U.S., according to the restaurant’s website.

    Available free tea options include:

    • Sweet tea
    • Unsweet tea
    • Half tea, half lemonade
    • Half sweet tea, half unsweet tea
    • Flavored tea
    • Tea with one flavor shot

Free teas are limited to one per customer in-store, and four per order online, the restaurant said.
