One less satisfied customer said the hose cracked shortly after use.

They explained: “The hose section near the floor cracked/split. This is my second unit. My first one lasted about 5 years so I wasn't too upset when the first unit cracked its hose. I figured it's the life of the unit. So my second unit I bought here on Amazon August 2021 and now June 2022 the hose cracked in the same place. Now I'm mad. This is not acceptable.”
