Kansas City Chiefs Fans Won’t Like This NFL Analyst’s Prediction

The Kansas City Chiefs can make history during the 2024 season. No team in NFL history has won three Super Bowls in a row, but they will have a chance to do so this season.

A potential three-peat was discussed during a recent segment on The Carton Show on FS1 . Craig Carton gave his prediction, which Kansas City Chiefs fans won’t be thrilled about hearing.

“If No. 15 is standing, you have a chance. He’s the best QB in the world right now. If they GOAT didn’t do it, I don’t think KC will do it. They can — they won’t — but they can,” Carton said on his show.

The odds are certainly stacked against them from achieving the feat, but no one is going to bet against Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. What they have accomplished together to this point is incredible and they aren’t close to being done.

The Kansas City Chiefs have won the AFC West eight straight seasons. They have won double-digit games in nine straight and 10 out of the 11 seasons Reid has been the head coach.

With Mahomes as his quarterback, the 11 games they won last season was their low. Heading into the 2024 season, there is reason to believe that the offense will be even better.

In 2023, the Kansas City Chiefs had real concerns at wide receiver. Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore, two of their young playmakers, did not develop and break out as hoped.

That led to rookie Rashee Rice emerging as a reliable target for Mahomes along with star tight end Travis Kelce. This offseason, the front office made sure the wide receiver position would not be a disappointment again.

In free agency, the team signed Marquise Brown to a one-year deal. He will be looking to follow the same path JuJu Smith-Schuster did in 2022 when he signed a one-year deal and parlayed it into a multi-year pact the following offseason.

In the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy. What was a weakness last season could be a strength for the team in 2024.

With a strong defense still intact even with the departure of cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, the Kansas City Chiefs will once again be Super Bowl contenders. They will be motivated to make NFL history this season.
