Bryant, the father of Kobe Bryant, was a first round pick in 1975 and played for the Philadelphia 76ers, San Diego Clippers and Houston Rockets before a long career in Europe. Bryant also coached for many years, most notably as head coach of the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks.
