Ranking El Paso Middle Schools 2024: From Worst to First

As the transition from summer break to a new school year is about to begin, an education analyst website has handed El Paso’s middle schools their report cards.

The list was released by the research company Niche, which specializes in examining public data and reviews “to produce comprehensive rankings, report cards, and profiles for every K-12 school…in the U.S.”

Of the 33 El Paso-area public middle schools that were graded, three received an “A-” -- the second highest letter grade possible. Two of the three are Ysleta Independent School district campuses.

No middle school in the 915 was handed and “A,” the highest letter grade one could attain.

The lowest grade, a C minus, went to a school in the El Paso Independent School District.

The data is part of the site’s annual “Best Schools” report, which ranks campuses based on certain key categories such as academics, teachers, resources, and activities. The report takes student and parent reviews into consideration as well.
