With the start of the season right around the corner, plenty of talking heads are making predictions for conference championships and the College Football Playoffs. Nick Saban turned heads after not including the Alabama Crimson Tide in his SEC Championship prediction.

After choosing the Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Longhorns to represent the SEC in the title game, Alabama offensive lineman, Tyler Booker, sent a fiery response to his former head coach, per Brett McMurphy of The Action Network and Chris Hummer of 247 Sports. Nick Saban's prediction might not be sitting well with the Crimson Tide.

"(Saban) always said don't let some guy who lives in his mom's basement determine how you feel. I'm not going to let a guy who plays golf all day determine how I feel."

That's not all Booker said either. He also claimed that Saban also taught the Crimson Tide to essentially remove "external factors." So, now that Nick Saban is an analyst, Alabama football's Tyler Booker is treating his former coach as an external factor before laughing off the comment, according to Rosie Langello of WSFA12 News.

"Well something Coach Saban taught us whenever we speak to the media is to not concern ourselves with external factors and he doesn’t work in the facility anymore, he works in the stadium so he’s considered an external factor."

Maybe Nick Saban will have a response to Tyler Booker, but Saban is probably loving this response from his former player. Booker is simply taking what Saban taught him and just so happens to be using it on his former coach. Time is a flat circle, isn't it?

The Alabama Crimson Tide are predicted to make the College Football Playoffs this season. However, they're certainly not the favorite right now with Nick Saban out of the picture. Georgia is being viewed as the top dog in the country and there is a ton of hype around Texas as well.

It'll be interesting to see how the SEC unfolds this season as it's easily one of, if not, the most competitive conference in college football. Alabama will have a fighting chance with Kalen DeBoer leading the way, but they could struggle early on in the season while adjusting to the new scheme.

The Crimson Tide kick off their season on August 31 against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. But Alabama likely has their September 28 matchup circled on the calendar, as they face off against Georgia that week.
