Tony Finau has a great chance to contend this week.

Welcome to British Open week, one of the best weeks on the golf calendar every year. The weather forecast is calling for rainy, windy conditions at Royal Troon Golf Club (shocking, right?), so we're looking for players built to brave the elements and stay out of trouble.

Let's check out our three favorite props for the fourth and final major championship of the season.

    Tony Finau top-10 finish (+400 DraftKings )

Finau went through a rough stretch at major championships from 2022 to the start of 2024, but he's starting to look like his vintage self again. The American finished T18 at the PGA Championship and T3 at the U.S. Open last month. He has a great chance to contend again this week.

Finau is absolutely striping the ball with his irons right now, as he's gained a whopping 28.92 true strokes on approach over his last five starts. The kicker, though, is that Finau has gained strokes from putting in three straight starts leading to three straight top-10 finishes. He tweaked his putting stroke recently and is finally starting to hole some long ones.

Finau is one of the best wind players in the field because of how well he can shape his irons and get up and down from awkward spots. If the putting stays hot, he'll be in contention this week.

    Aaron Rai top-20 finish (+220 FanDuel )

It's been incredible to watch Rai over the last few months. The 29-year-old hits the ball dead straight with his driver and irons, and his low ball flight is perfect for cutting through the wind to hit fairways and greens.

Rai is also one of the hottest putters on the PGA Tour, gaining strokes on the green in four straight starts. He ranked seventh in the field in strokes gained from putting and fourth in strokes gained from around the green at last week's Genesis Scottish Open, which is a great sign entering a demanding short-game test at Royal Troon. Rai is coming off five straight top-five finishes and three straight top-10s, and his game is perfectly built for windy conditions.

Dustin Johnson to miss the cut (+100 DK )

Make no mistake about it. Johnson went to LIV Golf to retire from competitive golf. He'll show up to the major championships as long as he's exempt, but his performance won't bother him either way.

DJ has missed the cut in three of his last four major starts. He shot 78-79 at the Masters and 74-75 at the U.S. Open, failing to sniff even par in either tournament. The chilly temperatures, rain showers and strong winds won't help his cause, and Johnson is also teeing off at the worst possible time in the first round based on the weather forecast.
