Over 2,000 Effingham County residents out of power

EFFINGHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) says about 2,100 customers are currently out of power, according to Georgia Power.

ECSO says there are also a few powerlines down on Courthouse Rd. and Little McCall Rd.

The department is asking drivers to be careful while out on roads during the passing storm.

Also, if any traffic lights are out, treat them as a 4-Way Stop.
