Shaquille O'Neal Doubles Down On Bold Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese Rookie Of The Year Pick

The Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese Rookie of the Year debate is one of the hottest topics in the world of sports right now, and everyone is weighing in.

While Clark was initially expected to be the heavy frontrunner this season, Reese has put together a strong season with the Chicago Sky to enter the conversation.

In the eyes of some, she's now the frontrunner. After Shaquille O'Neal recently seemed to agree with Dawn Staley's stance that Reese was leading the pack, he doubled down on that stance by publicly picking Reese over Clark in the Rookie of the Year race.

Of course, it's worth noting that there's still a lot of basketball left to be played, but Reese seems to be gaining on Clark right now, if she hasn't passed her outright already.

While Reese has turned things up as of late, though, Clark has been leading the Indiana Fever on their best stretch of the season, as they have won four of their past six games.

Regardless of which side you are on, it's clear that this race is going to come down to the wire, and it should remain one of the biggest storylines in the WNBA down the stretch of the season.
