    Police searching for pair who set fire to pride flag outside Kenton County home

    KENTON COUNTY, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Police are searching for a pair after a video surfaced online Wednesday that showed a pride flag being burned outside a northern Kentucky home.

    According to the Kenton County Police Department (KCPD), two people set fire to a pride flag outside a home in the early hours of July 13.

    KCPD posted on Facebook around 11 a.m. Wednesday, sharing Ring footage of the act taking place.

    In the video, two masked people, whom authorities believed were men, set fire to a flag outside a home “between the hours of midnight and 3:00 a.m.” on Sunday in the area of Club House Drive in the Latonia Lakes community.

    Authorities said after setting the fire, the pair “fled to the east along Club House Drive.”

    Anyone with information that could assist law enforcement in finding the pair or who may have additional footage of the fire is asked to contact investigators at (859) 392-1954.
