Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams

Star receiver Davante Adams made it a point to let everyone know that he’s fully committed to the Las Vegas Raiders.

However, given the speculation surrounding Adams and whether or not he will be traded before the season starts, the 31-year-old also disclosed during a recent appearance on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast which team he would prefer to play for if he is, in fact, shipped off to another team this offseason.

“If I were to be reunited with anybody, it would be with Aaron [Rodgers], or be relocated anywhere, it would be with Aaron,” Adams said . “There's a lot of stuff last year in the media with them asking ... they talk about whatever without me even being involved in it. It ended up getting all the way to the point where it got in the locker room and people was thinking that I was the driving force.”

Rodgers has certainly done his share of pot-stirring regarding a potential reunion with Adams this offseason. Just a few days ago, the four-time league MVP said that he couldn’t wait to play with Adams again, prompting many to question if Rodgers knows something everyone else doesn’t.

If Adams were to reunite with his former quarterback, the Jets would certainly have one of the scarier passing offenses in the NFL.

During their eight seasons together in Green Bay, Rodgers and Adams connected on 669 passes for 8,121 yards and 73 touchdowns. During that same span, Rodgers was named to six Pro Bowls, earned two first-team All-Pro honors and was named NFL MVP twice, while Adams made six Pro Bowls and earned two first-team All-Pro selections.
