The matchup between Team USA and Serbia on Wednesday was extremely entertaining as Team USA was just having fun by the end of it. A number of players received a lot of praise for their incredible play including Steph Curry who lit up the court, as well as Anthony Davis and Bam Adebayo for their outstanding defense.

However, one player was on the other end of the spectrum, as fans were demanding to get him off the court. That player is Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers. After a rough start, he struggled to truly find his rhythm.

This is a continuation of previous struggles so far in these Olympic games, and fans have been begging Steve Kerr to bench him. After another poor performance for Embiid, Kerr made his announcement on if he'd keep him in the starting lineup.

While this likely won't be the popular decision, it's what Kerr feels is best. After all, Embiid is an MVP and is coming off the best season of his career. He could just need to shake off some rust before he gets back to dominance.
