Wide receiver Dayton Wade was known for making electrifying catches over his last two seasons at Ole Miss . Wade's playmaking ability helped generate plenty of buzz at the college level, but he begins a new chapter this fall as he now aims to build a professional career.

Wade was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Baltimore Ravens following April's 2024 NFL Draft. It is a great landing spot for him as the Ravens are thin at receiver. With that being said, catching on as a UDFA is no easy feat.

If the NFL does not immediately work out for Wade a new door has just opened. The Michigan Panthers selected Wade in the sixth round of the UFL College Draft on Wednesday.

Wade posted 55 receptions for 830 yards and four touchdowns in his senior season at Ole Miss. But it's the one-handed snags and elite athleticism that gives him a shot to make an impact at the next level.

Whether Wade plays his professional football in the NFL or UFL this fall he's capable of raising eyebrows wherever he lands. If Wade suits up for the Panthers he could be joined by former Ole Miss defensive end Isaac Ukwu who was selected by Michigan in the third round.
