TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Dashcam video from the Florida Highway Patrol shows a car flip over after a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 4 near the Walt Disney World exit in Orange County.

The Florida Highway Patrol told WESH that the crash happened Sunday in the westbound lanes at mile market 67. Troopers said a 20-year-old woman was traveling westbound lanes in a 2016 Hyundai Tucson when a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro attempted to change lanes and hit her car, causing her vehicle to run off the roadway and flip over.

Witnesses told officials they saw three men in their 20s get out of the Camaro and run. The men were later picked up by a driver in a silver or gray car.

The FHP said the 20-year-old woman wasn’t taken to a hospital.

Luckily the other driver survived and she’s not seriously hurt, however, the fact these three people chose to be selfish and walk away from the scene of a crash that they caused without even checking to see if the other person was OK, her vehicle overturned, It could’ve been way worse,” Migdalisis Garcia with FHP told WESH.

Garcia told the news station that what could have ended in a ticket will now likely end with criminal charges. “Fleeing the scene whether it’s property damage, injuring someone, or killing someone, is a crime,” she said.

Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to call *FHP (*347) or CRIMELINE at 800-423-TIPS.
