Has Sheila Changed on B&B? — Kimberlin Brown Speaks Out!

Given the lengthy rap sheet that Sheila has built up over her time on both The Bold & The Beautiful and The Young & The Restless, it’s no wonder that she immediately became the prime suspect when Tom and Hollis were murdered on B&B . So it wasn’t really a surprise when Lt. Baker showed up to question her, quickly followed by Steffy and Li to hurl accusations.

“I’m not sure anything really surprises Sheila where the Forresters are concerned or where Li is concerned,” Kimberlin Brown admitted to Soap Opera Digest of her character’s feelings. “She’s always going to be the first person that they point to. So, I don’t know if she’s really that surprised. I know she’s disappointed.”

Lt. Baker was just doing his job, and Sheila expected that kind of attitude from Steffy and Li, but it was Finn being part of the other side that really stung. Thankfully, she still has Deacon on her side, and aside from Finn, he’s really the only one she truly cares about.

“She’s trying her hardest to be the good person he wants her to be because he believes in her,” Brown explained. “He’s the first person who has believed in her. Does she really care what Steffy thinks? Probably not so much. Does she care what Finn thinks? Absolutely. She wishes that Finn would see her for the new leaf that she’s turned over in her life, and how different finding love and finding happiness can make a person.”

Although her new romance with Deacon has inspired Sheila to turn over a new leaf, given her history it’s no wonder that everyone’s eyes turned to her when people mysteriously began dying all of a sudden. “It just shows once again, it doesn’t really matter what Sheila does, if it’s good or not,” Brown said. “If it’s good, they look the other way. All they see is the Sheila of the past. They don’t see the Sheila of the present. That’s something Sheila brought on herself. We’re all free to make decisions in life, but we’re not free to escape the consequences of those decisions. That being said, Sheila has a lot to make up for.”
