    Driver killed in collision with semi-trailer after running stop sign

    A driver was killed in a collision with a semi-trailer carrying logs in western Wisconsin Wednesday.

    The collision was reported at 10:45 a.m. at 710th Street and 240th Avenue in Spring Brook, with the Dunn County Sheriff's Office saying the SUV driver failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with the semi at an intersection.

    First responders arrived to find the SUV driver had no pulse, and he was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene despite lifesaving efforts.

    The victim has identified as a 77-year-old man, who was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

    The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.
