Ella Langley Teases Cheeky, Boot-Stompin’ Unreleased Song “Cowboy Friends”

A boot-stomper if I've ever heard one. Ella Langley is gearing up to release her major label debut album hungover next month, and today she teased an unreleased one from the tracklist called "cowboy friends" that I LOVE. Of course, pretty much all I do every day is listen to music and talk about it, and this is easily one of the first songs I've hard lately that's caught my attention so quickly. Don't get me wrong, I love her song with Riley Green "You Look Like You Love Me," which also pretty sly and humorous, but there's something about the sass level, for lack of a better term, in just the chorus and verse she shared that is so unique and funny. It finds Ella pretty much reading some random cowboy the riot act, saying that he's "overcompensating" with his "big ten gallon hat," and she's not even sad to see him go, because they were never really in love. Plus, it's his loss, because she has "more than a few" other cowboy friends: "You think you're' such a big shot With that big ten gallon hat Overcompensating, you know what they say about that You need all that getup to get a girl to call you baby All I need is what the good Lord gave me So saddle up and ride away It ain't like it was love anyways I won't have no trouble rounding up The next one when this ends I've got me more than  few cowboy friends Yeehaw" The lyrics pack a punch, and coupled with the upbeat, boot-stompin and super country production, it's a winner and I haven't even heard the entire thing yet: "I’ve got me more than a few cowboy friends…' Amen to that... https://www.instagram.com/p/C9knjMnRsF5/ Hungover is due out everywhere on August 2nd, and features previously released songs in “paint the town blue” and “nicotine.” The 14-song tracklist also includes two acoustic songs “cowgirl don’t cry” and “broken in” that I’m excited to hear.
