Mike Smiff Drops 'Thinking Out Loud' With BossMan Dlow, Tee Grizzley & More

Mike Smiff's got a lot on his mind. The Miami rapper vents about his long journey thus far on his brand-new album.

On Wednesday, July 17, Mike Smiff dropped his latest studio LP Thinking Out Loud via Slip-N-Slide Records. He kicks things off by spitting some "Goat Talk" followed by his previously released song "Different." The 14-track project also holds his recent collaboration "On Your Way Up" featuring Hurricane Wisdom , "Steph & Klay," and the project's first single "Trust Me Baby." Midway through, Mike connects with BossMan Dlow on "Bubble Up," Tee Grizzley on "G-Code" and Nikita Love for his emotional hit "DMX."

"I worked so hard on this project!" Smiff tells iHeartRadio. "From the songwriting to the beat selection to the mixing process. From picking the track listing all the way down to picking the cover. It's the first time I mixed and mastered every beat as well as vocals. The journey getting to this point was a very long one — a lot of late nights and early mornings. So to work this hard on a project and to release it and see it get the love and support it’s getting means everything to me."

Thinking Out Loud comes a few months after Mike Smiff dropped off his previous joint project with OGBBE, 3AM In Dade and a collaborative album with his group Only The Members OTM Business. In celebration of his new album's release, Mike Smiff also dropped the official visuals for "Bubble Up" featuring BossMan Dlow . Mike and the Port Salerno rapper link up in a parking lot after a block party.

"This may be my most personal project!" Smiff adds. "I'm proud of it and I'm so grateful for my team and all their contributions and grateful for my city embracing me. THINKING OUT LOUD we platinum in the streets already for sure."
