Irv Gotti Responds To Sexual Assault Allegations Following Recent Lawsuit

Irv Gotti has responded to accusations made by a woman who sued him for sexual assault .

In a statement provided to iHeartRadio on Thursday, July 18, a rep for the famed producer said he "categorically denies" the allegations from the woman only known as "Jane Doe." The rep says Doe's lawsuit was filed after Gotti "rejected the attempt by this individual to coerce a payment of money from him."

"The lawsuit contains a single page of 'facts' which are unsworn to, sparse by any measure, and which Mr. Gotti categorically denies," the statement reads. "The allegations represent an affront to women who have truly suffered abuse."

"Mr. Gotti has been surrounded by strong women the entirety of his life – his mother, five sisters, and daughter," the statement continues. "The top employees at his company are women. Mr. Gotti’s relationship with women have been characterized by mutual respect, honesty, and empathy."

According to court documents provided by the Miami New Times , the unidentified woman claimed she was involved in an abusive relationship with Gotti from 2020 to 2022. She claimed he allegedly sexually assaulted her during their first trip together and defamed her to his massive social network after the relationship ended.

She claimed Gotti took her on vacation to Saint Martin and threatened to send her home if she didn't have sex with him. He also allegedly forced her to perform sex acts on him in strange locations like an elevator at a Miami hotel and the backseat of an Uber in Atlanta. The lawsuit also says the alleged victim "endured significant pain and suffering of both mind and body and will continue to endure such pain and suffering in the future." She also claimed her injuries were so severe that she had to be committed to a psychiatric ward.

"Mr. Gotti’s reputation has been placed at issue," the statement concludes. "He will address this baseless claim in the courts and seek total vindication. Further, he will review all options regarding the filing of a counterclaim for defamation."

Jane Doe is suing for undisclosed damages and is seeking a trial by jury.
