Why Shannon Beador Thinks Tamra Judge Is Toxic

With the premiere of the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 behind us, it is clear that Shannon Beador isn’t holding back. The mother of three has traveled a rough road this last year, thanks to her DUI being caught on a Ring camera and running into someone’s home. Shannon has always shared her entire life with cameras. This has included her divorce from David Beador and her break up with John Janssen . Even though she has been a bit demanding when it comes to her friends, it seems she is starting to realize that not everyone is always going to be in her corner.

Shannon and Tamra Judge have always been close. But this last year has taken a major toll on their relationship. Now Shannon is speaking out about how toxic she believes her former friend is. So, is Shannon way out of line, or does she have a point?

Shannon Beador calls out Tamra Judge

It seems like Shannon and Tamra just don’t know how to be the friend the other needs. While speaking with Bustle , Shannon came clean about her true feelings about Tamra. Shan noted, “Every falling out with Tamra is made public. That’s what she does. But Tamra was the one who decided not to be part of the Tres Amigas live shows.” During the premiere, Tamra stated that she had called off a few shows because of Shannon’s DUI. Shannon went on to share, “After reflecting on my relationships, I realized my friendship with Tamra was nothing but toxic. I’ve buried things under the rug over the years, and I’m not going to do that anymore.”

Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge’s friendship has already been tested

Even though Shannon and Tamra have always been two-thirds of the Tres Amigas, this isn’t the first time their friendship has been called into question. During Season 13, Shannon kept harping on about “a lot of new” in her life as she was called out for being a bit of a mean girl to Gina Kirschenheiter . Shannon expected to be backed by Tamra, but instead, the former CUT Fitness owner noted, “You can’t make an effort with them.”

As Shannon became irate, claiming Tamra was “one of her best friends,” Gina clapped back, noting, “Yeah, but you don’t even check in on her after her husband has had heart surgery. So, really, what kind of a good friend are you?” The question was harsh but fair. It always felt like these two walked a fine line when it came to their friendship, and any little hurdle could and would derail it.

Shannon Beador won’t be silenced

Even though Shannon and Tamra aren’t on the best of terms, Episode 2’s sneak peek showed Tammy Sue reaching out to her foe after pictures of Alexis Bellino and John were released. Tamra sent a nice text noting, “I know things aren’t good between us. But I wanted you to know that I’m thinking about you. I know how hurtful this must be for you, and I’m sorry.” Yet, all Shannon could muster up was a generic response of “Happy Holidays.”

However, according to Shannon, Tamra liked Alexis’ photos and used applause emojis. In response, Shannon texted, “WTF? What are you doing? You would never see me post applause emojis.” According to the text, Tamra’s response back was to “Grow the f*ck up.” Tamra isn’t the only cast member that Shannon can’t or won’t get along with. Episode 1 of Season 18 showed Shannon going head-to-head with Alexis.

But she is backing down from a fight and is making her intentions known. Even though fans might think Shannon should get over her past lawsuit with Alexis’ ex-husband, the blonde is more than ready to dredge up old issues. Shannon has clarified that she will no longer have people around her who don’t support her. But I am going to wager it is going to be very lonely to be Shannon when she realizes she is alone on an island with no backup.
