Steve Kerr Gets Bashed By Former NBA All-Star For Having Joel Embiid In Team USA's Starting Lineup

Team USA has been tuning up for the 2024 Summer Olympics, and they have cruised to victory in each of the three friendly matchups they have played in so far ahead of the Games.

However, it's been tough to ignore Joel Embiid's struggles, despite the fact he is fresh off one of the more impressive campaigns of his career.

Team USA head coach Steve Kerr has opted to stick with Embiid in the starting lineup for the time being, but if you ask former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, he thinks Kerr is a fool for continuing to start Embiid.

While Embiid should excel with Team USA on paper, the results haven't translated to the court, as he's struggled to consistently produce for them in their first three exhibition matches.

As a result, Kerr could have a big decision to make once the Games officially get underway. The good news is that he has a ton of stars on the bench that he could turn to instead.

Team USA still has two friendly matches left before the Olympics get underway, and it may be best for Kerr to tinker with his lineup in the event Embiid continues to struggle.
