Dubai princess divorces her husband via a savage Instagram message, seemingly accuses him of cheating

Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum seemingly asked her husband for a divorce via social media.

The daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai’s current ruler, took to Instagram with a savage post aimed at her husband, Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum.

“Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce,” Sheikha Mahra, 30, wrote.

“I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you,” she continued. “Take care. Your ex-wife.”

The Arabian Royal Agency announced Sheikha Mahra and Sheikh Mana’s engagement in March of last year, per Grazia Magazine .

Sheikh Mana’s father later confirmed the engagement with an official poem congratulating the couple.

Months after the announcement, the couple was married in May 2023. They hosted a luxurious reception in Dubai in June 2023.

The bride wore a white embroidered ballgown by Dubai-based designer Ezra Couture on her wedding day.

Sheikha Mahra’s decree comes two months after she gave birth to her and Sheikh Mana’s daughter.

She first announced that the couple was expecting on Oct. 18, 2023, with an ultrasound photo of their growing baby on Instagram. She captioned the sweet snap, “Just the three of us.”

Sheikha Mahra celebrated her 30th birthday in February with a pink-themed gender reveal as they shared they were expecting a little girl.

The mom announced the birth of her newborn baby on May 9 via Instagram with a photo of the little girl’s tiny hand with the caption, “✨🤍✨.”

On June 4, she also shared a selfie of her and her daughter snuggling together, with the words “Just the two of us” written across the top of the image.

Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, 75, is also the vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
