NFL Analyst Reveals Wild Take On Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen

There is no denying that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is one of the most talented players in the NFL at his position. The combination of size and skill that he possesses is rivaled by few of his peers in the league.

Recently, NFL personnel including executives, coaches and scouts gave their opinions on ranking players at each position. At quarterback, Josh Allen came in at No. 3.

He was behind only Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals. However, not all of the comments about the Buffalo Bills star were positive.

There was one general manager who tore into Josh Allen, calling him one of the most overrated players in the NFL . Analyst and radio host Craig Carton has a wild conspiracy theory about who could have said that.

During a recent segment of The Carton Show, he revealed a wild take. He has conspired that the anonymous general manager who ripped into Josh Allen was the Buffalo Bills’ Brandon Beane.

“Brandon Beane is now setting the stage for one of the all-time dumbest trades in the history of the NFL when the Buffalo Bills decide to part ways with Josh Allen,” Carton said during a segment of his show this week.

Calling that a hot take may not be doing it justice; that is scorching hot. Anonymous quotes in professional sports happen all the time, but for a general manager to speak about his quarterback like that?

That would be unprecedented. We will never know who said that quote, but they had a lot to say about Josh Allen’s ability to lead the Buffalo Bills to the promised land.

If Carton is correct and it was Beane saying these things, it would be mind-blowing. Usually, if a person wants to prepare for a trade, they will speak up to the player they want to move, not tear them down.

If the Buffalo Bills were to make Josh Allen available, they would receive a haul of a trade package in return. Alas, it would signal a reset for the franchise, as they would fall back to the bottom of the AFC without their Pro Bowl signal caller.
