Peterbrooke Chocolatier is closing its beloved Atlanta location at The Forum after over 15 years of serving up delicious chocolates and sweet treats. The news came as a bit of a shock to fans who’ve cherished the store’s European-style chocolates, gelato, and those irresistible chocolate-covered strawberries.

The announcement was made with a touch of nostalgia on Facebook. “It is with a bittersweet heart that we announce our closing at The Forum in 30 days,” the post read. “As we prepare to say goodbye, we invite you to follow us for amazing discounts and promotions as we clear our inventory. We want to thank all of our loyal customers for the sweet memories and support over the years.”

Fans didn’t hold back their feelings in the comments section. Many shared their fond memories of the shop, from chocolate-making nights out to kids' summer camps. “I hate to hear this. Love this location and the people who have made it special for many years!!” one customer wrote. Another reminisced, “We will miss you! We have so many fond memories going way back. Thank you for bringing so much joy and sweetness for so long!”

Peterbrooke Chocolatier, known for its chocolate popcorn and hand-dipped strawberries, is holding a massive sale before closing its doors. From July 16 to 24, you can snag discounts ranging from 50% to 75% off most items, although popcorn, containers, decorations, fruit, and macaroons are excluded from the sale.

Despite this sad goodbye, Peterbrooke isn’t disappearing entirely. The company will still have 25 locations across Florida and Alabama, so fans can still get their chocolate fix. But for those in Atlanta, this is your last chance to grab your favorite treats at unbeatable prices before the shop closes on July 25.

So, if you’re in the area, swing by before the doors close for good and grab a sweet memory—or two—while you can!
