    Tippecanoe County Fair starts this weekend; here's what you should know

    The Tippecanoe County Fair kicks off this weekend but goes full force next week. Here are some highlights you should know:

    What does the fair cost?

    Parking, shuttle service and entry are all free. Food and rides have various costs.

    When is the pie-eating contest?

    It starts at 5 p.m. Thursday in the coliseum. The sign-up form will be in the 4-H extension office in the east wing of the main fairgrounds building.

    When is the kiddie tractor pull?

    It starts at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 21. The sign-up form will be in the 4-H extension office in the east wing of the main fairgrounds building.

    When is the greased watermelon contest?

    It's at 8 p.m. Thursday in the coliseum.

    When is the carnival open?

    The hours vary during the week; check the carnival schedule at Tippecanoe County 4-H Fair (tippe4hfair.org).

    When is Family Day?

    All rides take one ticket each on Tuesday.

    How do we use the shuttle service?

    DayTime

    Saturday, July 205 p.m.

    Sunday, July 215 p.m.

    Monday, July 225 p.m.

    Tuesday, July 231 p.m.

    Wednesday, July 245:30 p.m.

    Thursday, July 255:30 p.m.

    All shuttles end at 10:30 p.m. There is no shuttle service on Friday, July 26th, or Saturday, July 27th.
