Obituary – Sandra J. Robinson

Sandra J. Robinson, “Sandy” April 9, 1943 – July 9, 2024

Born and raised in Northern Virginia and a graduate of Mary Washington College, Sandy was a kind, empathetic, and compassionate person who loved gardening, Shakespeare, proper grammar, and dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther & Virginia Jones; son, Kevin Robinson; and niece, Tracy Jones. She is survived by son, Kelly Robinson & his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Kassandra Davey; brother, Luther Jones & his wife, Jan; sister, Linda McGonegal; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Commonwealth Senior Living West End and Medi Home Hospice for their quality of care and compassion in Sandy’s final days. She will be laid to rest in a graveside remembrance on Wednesday, July 17th at Fairfax Memorial Park.
