The Indiana Department of Education recently released the ILEARN testing data from this past school year.
While many schools across the county saw slight improvements, the county as a whole still fell under the state average.
Nettle Creek Schools saw the most improvement by nearly five percentage points, while Community Christian School saw the largest decrease.

In the post I've embedded above, the Orange County Rural District 1 Fire Department over in French Lick had an unusual call Tuesday night.
Curious Georgina (no, not her actual name), a pet monkey, got her leash tangled up in a tree branch while going on her nightly stroll.
Thankfully, with the help of the department and assisting agencies, she was returned to her owner.
