The chemistry between Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston is undeniable as they reach the midway point of their first season as WNBA teammates.

The Indiana Fever's back-to-back No. 1 overall picks have developed a strong bond — both on and off the court.

Clark was asked to talk about this bond during her media availability at All-Star practice on Friday.

"She's only getting better and better. You see it with each game. She just continues to improve," Clark said. "For me, coming her to Indianapolis — that was one of the things I was most excited about. Getting an opportunity to play with her.

"Not only is she a great basketball player, she's a great person — she's a great leader in out locker room. She's always had my back. She's been there for me through the beginning of the season — when games are great and when games aren't great. She's just somebody I can lean on."

"I think our chemistry and our connection just continues to grow," Clark continued. "I think the more time that we get to play with one another — you can see just the experience. Whether it's in game, whether it's in practice. It's only going to get better and better."
