ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A former Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office deputy accused of pulling a gun on two men while off duty is fighting to have some evidence in the case suppressed. Michael Borrecco is accused of pulling a gun on two men at a Circle K on Osuna while drunk earlier this year.

Man sentenced for shooting Border Patrol agent in New Mexico

His attorney filed new motions asking for information on the two men, including their criminal history, an officer’s lapel video, and some witness interviews to be withheld from the trial. They said that the information was not made available to them in a timely manner.

A hearing on the motion is set for later this month. Borrecco is facing two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
