Crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle reported in Muhlenberg County

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle was reported in Muhlenberg County Friday.

Officials with central dispatch say the first call about the crash came in at 4:22 p.m..

The crash happened near Greenville on Robert L Draper Way and West Depot Street.

The Greenville Police Department have identified the driver of the motorcycle as Mark Foster. Police say Foster was ejected from the motorcycle when a pickup truck turned into his lane and struck him. Police have identified the driver of the truck as James Cottrell.

Foster was airlifted to a hospital. Cottrell and a passenger were uninjured in the crash.

Officials with central dispatch say Robert L Draper Way and West Depot Street are now both back open.
