Climber's body recovered after falling hundreds of feet to death in Harrison Peak area

BOUNDARY COUNTY, Idaho - A climber's body was recovered in the Harrison Peak area Sunday with the help of the Spokane Regional Air Support Unit.

The climber was first reported missing July 12. Boundary Search and Dive Rescue Team found the body just after 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Rescue crews said it looked like the climber fell several hundred feet and died from the injuries.

Because of the terrain, BSDRT asked for help from the Spokane County Sheriff's Office to get the climber's body.

Spokane rescue crews helped get BSDRT members and the climber's body out of the area.
