Love Island USA viewers find 'heartwarming' moment 'sinister' ahead of elimination

Love Island USA fans felt like a positive moment shared by the contestants was was ruined by poor timing.

The boys and girls left in the villa received a text after a romantic yet messy Newlywed challenge to get ready to make a family style dinner together. JaNa was the head chef and gave everyone a task on what to cook. Kaylor did not know how to cook and was in charge of the bread. They were cutting vegetables, prepping and cooking the chicken as JaNa made sure everything was up to par for the islanders first and final family dinner.

Viewers at home knew that an elimination was ahead as they had to vote for their favorite couple and believed that this "heartwarming" moment was "sinister."

After sharing a vulnerable moment with one another, saying a thing they are each grateful for and their favorite moment about this journey, they received another text to gather at the fire pit. They knew this meant someone was going to get sent home.

America saved favorite four couples – Miguel and Leah, JaNa and Kenny, Kordell and Serena, and Kendall and Nicole – sending Kaylor and Aaron and Rob and Kassy home. The villa was in tears as they formed a special bond.

Leah and Rob shared a moment that viewers have not seen in a long time. The two were a match at the very beginning of the show until Rob chose to match with Andrea, leaving Leah single and hurt. During movie night, the islanders saw a clip of Leah talking down on Rob, which hurt his feelings. Leah was devastated but took accountability and apologized.
