    Pies for Paws benefits Humane Society of Henderson County

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Henderson County Sheriff got pied in the face for a good cause on Saturday.

    Pies for Paws was held at Audubon State Park in Henderson.

    The event benefited the Humane Society of Henderson County .

    For $10, people could smash a pie in someone’s face.

    Several people volunteered to be pied, including Judge-Executive Brad Schneider and Sheriff Chip Stauffer.

    The shelter is offering free dog adoptions and $25 cat adoptions through the end of July.
