The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game is now rapidly approaching, with all players and coaches already having reported to the stadium and soon to hit the court.

But before they do so, there was one more round of interviews that many members of the All-Star Game were made to conduct.

One of those people was WNBA legend and Team WNBA coach Cheryl Miller.

And one of the questions Miller was asked on Saturday was what lesson she would give to rookies Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.

"I think the biggest lesson I can share with them is to stand back and be of service," Miller responded, per Desert Wave Media.

"In the best way I can," Miller continued. "I speak when I'm spoken to. I try to give them the best answers that I can, and let them be themselves.

"Coaching is so easy for me not because I understand what the players need... I understand that, with young players, it's important for them to establish their brand," Miller added.

"And I don't want them to lose sight of what's truly important, and that's the love of the game."

Powerful words from the WNBA icon.
