Caitlin Clark has responded to the naysayers at nearly every step of her professional career thus far. Along the way, the Fever rookie is stringing together one of the most impressive debut seasons in WNBA history.

Saturday's test promised to be one of the toughest yet, as Clark and her WNBA All-Star teammates faced off against a murderers' row of talent, all outfitted in red, white and blue.

Team USA is a formidable bunch, filled to the brim with star power. A'ja Wilson and Napheesa Collier are MVP frontrunners, while Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum, Diana Taurasi and Jackie Young all rank among the W's most menacing floor generals.

Yet Clark and the WNBA All-Stars emerged victorious at Phoenix's Footprint Center, taking a 117-109 win.

Clark came one assist shy of Sue Bird's All-Star Game record, and fellow rookie standout Angel Reese posted a double-double.

Caitlin Clark highlights vs. Team USA

Clark put on quite the showing in the first half, taking advantage of the ample talent that surrounded her to rack up assist after assist.

The 22-year-old guard started the game with a flourish, finding Liberty star Jonquel Jones with a lofted pass in transition to record her first dime of the game.

Clark made sure to share the wealth with her Fever faves, feeding Aliyah Boston for the and-one shortly thereafter.

And Clark soon got a basket for herself, corralling a pass from eventual All-Star MVP Arike Ogunbowale after deflecting a pass away from Team USA's Alyssa Thomas.

Although her shot wasn't hitting the mark — Clark misfired from 3-point range, going 0-for-7 on the night — she continued to pour in assists, nearly matching Bird's All-Star record of 11.

Clark even had time to get into a little tiff with USA guard Kelsey Plum. Gotta love a little friendly competition...
