    Angel Reese sings Caitlin Clark's praises during WNBA All-Star Game: 'She's been great to play with'

    If there were any concerns that Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark couldn't coexist in the same lineup, they were firmly put to rest during the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game.

    The pair of rookie rivals helped Team USA to a 117-109 win.

    As two of Team WNBA's most prominent figures, Reese and Clark were always going to garner endless scrutiny at Phoenix's Footprint Center. Both showed out against the murderers' row that is Team USA, however. Reese made waves with her relentless pursuit of errant shots, while Clark lit up the box score with precision passes.

    It was just the sort of display WNBA fans were hoping to see from the two newcomers. As it turns out, the duo were seeking the same sort of performance, too.

    Reese and Clark appeared to enjoy sharing the floor with one another. When Clark had the ball, Reese tended to be there, lending her services as a sort of sentry to displace the Iowa product's defender.

    Reese got plenty out of the relationship, too. After all, Clark is one of the sport's finest playmakers. With the ball in Clark's hand, an open shot isn't ever too far away.

    Reese let her feelings on her newfound teammate be known loudly, offering kind words to her former college foe during an in-game interview with ESPN's Ryan Ruocco.

    "It's so cool," Reese said of playing with Clark. "When she gets the ball im running looking for the ball because I know she's gonna throw it, she's been great to play with. Hopefully in four years we'll be Olympians together."

    Reese's joy went way beyond words, however. She was also lending support to Clark when she launched one of her patented parking lot threes, a gesture that caught the attention of many of those on WNBA Twitter.

    They even played pitch and catch, as Clark produced a lovely flick to set up Reese for a basket.

    All told, it was an impressive showcase for both youngsters. Clark recorded a game-high 11 assists, taking fans' breathes away with her piercing vision and unpredictable passing angles. Reese, meanwhile, added yet another double-double to her collection, this time against some of the world's greatest post presences, including A'ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart and Brittney Griner.

    The duo have told fans for ages that they have no beef with one another, just a healthy relationship with one another built on competition and respect. Who would've thought they would do exactly what they've been telling us for months, if not years?!
