Caitlin Clark was praised by Angel Reese during the WNBA All-Star Game , as she put their infamous beef aside and admitted it was "cool" to play together .

All eyes were on the two rookies ahead of Saturday's All-Star Game, with the rivals suiting up on the same team for the first time. Fans missed out on an interaction during Thursday's Orange Carpet event as Reese decided to prolong her stay in Las Vegas to watch the NBA Summer League .

On Friday they practiced together and even competed in a half-court shooting contest, with Reese emerging as the winner. But on Saturday they officially became teammates and shared the floor, and Reese shared that she was excited to continue playing with Clark in the future.

"Yeah, it's so cool. I know when she gets the ball I'm running and looking for the ball because I know she’s gonna throw it," Reese said while conducting an interview from the bench. "She's been great to play with."

Despite being named to the WNBA All-Star roster together as rookies, both players were snubbed from the Team USA Olympic roster. Reese and Clark are both destined to be WNBA greats, but the 2024 Paris Olympics came a little too soon for the pair.

It's likely that both Reese and Clark could be Team USA teammates for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, something that Reese is already mentally preparing for. "I mean, in the future we're going to be playing a lot," she added. "Hopefully in four years, we'll be Olympians together."

Clark was also enjoying herself during the WNBA All-Star Game and shared an emotional moment with the family of Kobe Bryant. The No. 1 rookie from the 2024 WNBA Draft was later selected for an in-game interview and discussed the legendary Sue Bird instead of Reese.

The Indiana Fever star recently set a new WNBA record with 19 assists in a single game, although they went on to lose 101-93 against the Dallas Wings. At the time of Clark's interview, she had nine assists and was told she was on the verge of breaking another WNBA record.

Bird holds the WNBA All-Star assist record for a single game after recording 11 assists, but Clark joked that she was coming to steal her record at the first time of asking. "Oh it's Sue's (record), I'm gonna break it she's been talking crap all game, if it's anybody else they can keep it but not Sue Bird," Clark said.

Clark may have been recording assists, but her 3-point attempts weren't as clinical as fans were expecting. Still, Clark laughed it off as she said: "I think I'm doing good, but it would be nice if my 3s would start bouncing in and not bouncing out."
