As you would expect, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark stole the show at the WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday night, putting on a dazzling performance.

What was more impressive than her scoring was her passing in the game, where she racked up 9 assists midway through the third quarter. That is just two assists shy of the WNBA All-Star Game record, which is held by WNBA legend Sue Bird.

During an in-game interview with the ABC crew, they let Clark know about the assist number, and once Clark found out who held the record, she was determined to break it, stating that Bird had been talking trash to her from the sidelines throughout the entire game.

"If it's Sue's then I'm breaking it," Clark said with a smile. "She's been talking crap all game. I'm breaking it. If it was anyone else, they could keep it, but not Sue Bird. Thank you for telling me that, that's really important."

There is still a lot of time left in the game, so we will see if Clark is able to break the record.

If she does eventually get her 12th assist, watch for her to go over to Bird on the sideline and give her some words.
