Fans Take Skip Bayless To Task Over Controversial Angel Reese Comment

Skip Bayless is known for his outspoken opinions and oftentimes they are not of the complimentary nature.

Bayless has become an avid fan of the WNBA since Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark began turning heads, most recently comparing Clark to LeBron James for skipping the WNBA's three-point contest, similar to James skipping myriad NBA dunk contests.

Bayless had a shining compliment for Reese during Saturday night's WNBA All-Star game, perhaps the greatest he has ever given to a WNBA player.

Fans were quick to jump on Bayless in the comments section over what he said because of the superfluous nature of his compliment.

"Angel Reese just might be the most amazing offensive rebounder I've ever seen," Bayless said.

Many fans became salty over Bayless' decision to praise the former LSU Tigers star, who had 12 points and 11 rebounds in 18 minutes of ASG action Saturday.

"The FS1 thing makes a lot of sense now..." one reader said on X, referencing Bayless' decision to leave his popular 'Undisputed' TV show.

"This is why they kicked you off your show," another fan added in the comments.

Reese led all players with 11 rebounds in Saturday night's All-Star Game, beating out Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty by one carom.

The Sky's season will resume on August 15 with a home matchup against Diana Taurasi and Brittany Griner's Phoenix Mercury following the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France.
