Caitlin Clark joined ESPN after helping Team WNBA beat Team USA with a 117-109 victory on Saturday. During her time on air, the Indiana Fever rookie shared her plans for the WNBA break since the league will take nearly four weeks off for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Clark expressed her excitement for the break and revealed her plans to take some time away from the hardwood.

"Go on vacation for a little bit. Get away from basketball," Clark said. "Don’t touch a basketball for a little bit,” Clark said. “Then come back, train and be ready for the second half. So I’m very thankful and grateful, and excited for the break, too."

The Fever went through a grueling schedule to start the 2024 season, having played 11 games in the first 20 days of the campaign. Indiana's break could give Clark and company a great chance for practice and rest.

In the rookie's first WNBA All-Star game, she recorded four points and 10 assists. While she struggled to score, posting splits of 2-9 from the field and 0-7 from three-point range, Clark showed her incredible versatility.

Indiana will take the court again on August 16 against the Phoenix Mercury.

The talented rookie said that she'll be going on vacation for a bit, and while that destination is unknown, it's clear that she will be away from basketball physically and mentally.

Clark and the Fever have been in the WNBA spotlight all season long, generating millions of views for their regular season matchups, so some time off away from all the eyeballs could help the team get ready for a postseason bid.
