LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — There’s been no shortage of speculation about President Joe Biden’s memory gaffes, former President Donald Trump’s criminal court cases and plenty of other issues–but if the presidential election were today, which candidate would take Michigan?

According to a new EPIC-MRA statewide poll of active and likely November 2024 voters, people in Michigan are leaning toward Trump.

The poll, conducted by live interviews (80% over cell phone) between July 13-17, asked people who they would vote for (or lean toward voting for) if the election were today. It shows the following results:

    43%, Trump

    36%, Biden

2%, Jill Stein, the Green Party Candidate

2%, Cornel West , the Independent Candidate

8%, Robert Kennedy Jr ., the Natural Law Party Candidate

1% indicated they would vote for none of these/other/won’t vote for president .

    8% were undecided or refused

The poll of 600 active and likely voters was conducted by EPIC-MRA from July 13-17. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4%.
